A TEENAGER was stabbed in Northfield yesterday after chasing a suspected bike thief.
The 16-year-old caught up with the suspect who was riding a grey and orange Voodoo pedal cycle around the Merritt’s Brook Lane area at 4pm.
The bike was thought to have been stolen earlier that afternoon.
The teenage victim was taken to hospital where he remains although his injuries are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.
Police have urged witnesses, anyone with any information, CCTV or dash cam footage to call them on 101.
