A TEENAGER is in custody over five car-key burglaries in Hagley, Romsley and Stourbridge.
Haiden Kerr, aged 19 of Ashley Close, Edgbaston, was charged last night (Tuesday 11 June) with four counts of burglary, eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle and one count of aggravated burglary.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
The charges are in relation to incidents between May 28 and June 9 on Hillcrest Road Romsley, Harberrow Close Hagley, Oldfields Hagley and Wollescote Road, Stourbridge.
The 19-year-old was arrested on Sunday by officers from the North Worcestershire Police Priorities Team on suspicion of a number of incidents.
Officers are now looking into the links with other similar crimes in the area.
