RESIDENTS will be able to sample a taste of the continent as part of a three day specialist market in Bromsgrove, writes Ryan Hesketh.

From Thursday to Saturday, October 25 to 27, the European market will run alongside the regular High Street market stalls offering delicacies such as Paella, Baklava, and luxurious French soaps.

Markets manager Johnathon Smith said: “Specialist companies are attracted to Bromsgrove because of its status as a historic market town.”

Coun Karen May, whose portfolio covers the town centre, said it was good news for regular stall holders, traders and shoppers alike.

“These specialist markets have proved very successful previously and have led to an increase in footfall on the High Street.”
