Talk on how physio can help endometriosis sufferers to be held in Belbroughton

Bromsgrove Editorial 16th Jan, 2020   0

AN INFORMATIVE talk on endometriosis and how people with the condition can be helped by physiotherapy will take place in Belbroughton.

The event, at 7pm on Thursday, January 23, at The Deli, has been organised by Vicki Shattock from the All Things Period Support Group.

Women’s health physiotherapist Fiona Mitchell will speak about how treatment can help with many endometriosis symptoms.

With the average diagnosis taking ten years, endometriosis sufferers will see many changes throughout their bodies, caused by the pain experienced and possible surgery.

Physiotherapy can play a huge role in pain management and function through education, hands on therapy, return to function and exercise.

For more details, email Vicki at [email protected] or call her on 07917 787272.
