Take a gory look at history at Avoncroft Museum this half-term

Bromsgrove Editorial 5th Feb, 2020   0

VISITORS to Avoncroft Museum this half-term can take a gruesome look at history.

Days of Gore will offer the gooey, gory and gruesome truths of yesteryear when it takes place between February 18 and 20.

A resident Tudor in the Guesten Hall will bring the past to life and teach the young and young at heart about medieval medicine, historical hygiene, execution and torture.

There will also be crafts, a trail, gooey feel boxes and the chance for people to make their own slime and costumed interpreters will be on hand – from medieval times to post war Britain.

Weather permitting there will also be pony rides and the miniature train will be running.

Normal admission applies apply but for some activities there will be an additional charge.

Visit www.avoncroft.org.uk or call 01527 831363.
