ARMED raiders burst into the Barnt Green Inn and escaped with a quantity of cash after punching one of the employees.
The incident happened at the Kendal End Road pub at 9.10am on Monday.
Three men, armed with a knife, got in via the back of the premises and demanded cash from the safe.
As well as the money a large tan brown leather Michael Kors handbag with gold zips, a navy blue Cath Kidston purse with ivory coloured sausage dogs on, and a gold iPhone 8+ were also taken.
One of the men punched a member of staff before the trio headed towards the car park where a fourth man was waiting in a grey Ford Focus ST.
The car then left towards Cofton Hackett.
The first robber was white and was wearing all black clothing, including black trainers and a black balaclava.
The second man was also white, wearing a navy quilted type jacket with a grey/white trim around the hood and cuffs and a white logo on the left upper arm, dark trousers and black trainers with a white sole. He also had a black scarf covering the lower part of his face.
The third man was also dressed in black clothing including a black bobble hat pulled completely over his face. He also wore grey/white trainers with a black trim.
Police say enquiries are currently ongoing and officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area prior to the robbery or from anyone who has any information they feel could assist with the investigation.
