PEOPLE should prepare for a scare at Bromsgrove’s Avoncroft Museum this Halloween.
Everything at the museum of historic buildings looks different in the light of the waning moon.
The popular attraction will once again be hosting its popular Halloween Trick or Treat Fright Nights – with scares aplenty guaranteed.
Who knows who or what you will meet in the dark if you dare follow the route around the museum’s grounds and buildings by moonlight.
Avoncroft wants people to come down for a night of macabre goings-on as groups of visitors tour the darkest depths of the museum, on the hunt for treats and on the lookout for tricks!
The events run from 6.30pm to 9.30pm next Saturday and Sunday (October 26) and on Halloween itself – Thursday, October 31.
Tickets – at £9 per person – are now on sale at www.avoncroft.org.uk/whats-on/
Spaces are limited so people are urged to book early to secure their place – if they dare.
As well as the spooky goings-on there will also be rides on the ghost train and a hot drink awaiting at the Edwardian tea room.
As the events take place in the dark, visitors may want to take a torch.
A museum spokesperson said: “This event will be spooky, creepy and some may even say scary – therefore it is not recommended for children under five and discretion is advised for those of a sensitive disposition!”
Tickets are booked for the tour-time and people are asked to arrive there ten minutes early so they are ready to set off.
Spooky goings on this October half-term
AVONCROFT also has plenty of Halloween-themed daytime activities running throughout the October half-term – from Tuesday to Thursday, October 29 to 31.
Participants can carve their own pumpkins, ride miniature trains and pet visiting ponies too.
Standard Museum admission charges apply and there may be additional charges for some
