PUPILS from years nine and ten in South Bromsgrove High School welcomed 50 pupils from four local first schools to a Digital Safety Conference.
The South students acted as ‘digital leaders’ to teach the year three and four pupils from Finstall First, Milfields First, Blackwell First and Charford First about the rapid development of technology and how to use the internet safely.
The youngsters then worked with their digital leader to produce a presentation that could advise other children about how they could stay safe when going online.
Event co-ordinaters James Siddle and Steff Walker said they were ‘blown away’ by the children’s knowledge and enthusiasm and were really impressed by the skills displayed by the digital leaders running the conference.
They added the school hoped to run similar events in the future.
