Slimming World Golden Bus to stop off in Worcestershire tomorrow

Bromsgrove Editorial 6th Sep, 2019   0

IT WILL be ‘all aboard’ Slimming World’s golden bus tomorrow when it stops off in Worcestershire, writes Eve Watson.

To celebrate Slimming World’s 50th birthday a golden double-decker bus will be touring around the UK and stopping off at Market Place in Redditch Town Centre from 10am to 5pm .

Guests are being invited to watch live cooking demonstrations and sample some SW recipes.

On board the bus chefs will be serving healthy dishes cooked from scratch including a pasta bolognese and a veggie paella.

Goody bags will also be available to anyone who stops by with recipe cards so they can try out the dishes at home.

Inspirational people from Bromsgrove and Droitwich whose lives have changed since losing weight will also be at the event.

Slimming World supports around 6,000 people in the two towns each week.

Bromsgrove Consultant and team developer Gaynor Hale said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the bus to Redditch.

“It has been my pleasure to have been part of the Slimming World story for 18 of those 50 years.

“The fact it has been around so long is testament to its success in helping people with their lifestyle changes.”
