DRIVERS are being warned about flooding in Bromsgrove which has left some roads impassable.

A number of stretches of the A448 Kidderminster Road have been shut.

The stretch by Fox Lane, Chaddesley Corbett, is under water and Bromsgrove Police have closed the road, along with Fox Lane.

Officers have warned people not remove the road closed signs.

Blackwell Road is also flooded. Police advise motorists do not risk driving through, saying ‘it’s not really worth it.’

Madeley Road near Fairfield in Bromsgrove is completely impassable due to flooding.

Alcester Road, Lickey End, is also shut and Shaw Lane and Berry Lane are reported to be impassible.

Drivers wherever they are going are being urged to consider if their journeys are really worth it and, if they decide to proceed, to take great care and allow plenty of time to get to their destination.

It follows torrential rain yesterday evening, overnight and this morning.
