THERE were plenty of memorable moments for dog owners to share with their pets when a ‘Santa Paws Grotto’ was held in Rubery last night.

The event, hosted by James Slater at Paws Here Unleashed in New Road, raised £165 for the Birmingham-based Animal House Rescue centre.

People paid to have their precious pooches pictured with the man in the big red suit.

Organiser Anita Ashton from Paws Here thanked all the pet owners who went along and supported the event.

She said: “It was a fabulous evening.

“We had a great turnout and the charity were so pleased with the amount raised.”
