Bromsgrove Editorial 6th Jan, 2020 Updated: 6th Jan, 2020   0

A CLEAN-UP group from Rubery will be wombling its way around the village when it holds its first litter-pick of the year.

The Rubery Wombles’ wants volunteers to join them for their ‘beat the bulge’ tidy with the incentive people will be able to burn off some festive season calories at the same time.

Participants should visit The Rubery Wombles’ event Facebook page to register their interest, find out more and let the organisers know if they want to borrow equipment, such as a stick, bag ring or gloves.

The group will meet at the information board outside Rubery Police Station at midday next Sunday, January 19.
