THE RUBERY Village Association has received a £200 cash boost from the Rotary Club of Lickey Hills.

The cheque was presented on behalf of the club by Paul Tranter, as part of ongoing work on the lead up to the ‘Enjoy Rubery’ event being held between June 22 and 24 as part of the Bromsgrove Festival.

Chairman of the Rubery Village Association Ian Robinson said: “The RVA is proud to join forces with Lickey Hills Rotary as we strive to build better relationships with community groups across the village.”

Further information on the ‘Enjoy Rubery’ event is available from the village’s library.
