Rubery to be cleaned 'underground and overground' as village's Wombles return

Bromsgrove Editorial 19th Sep, 2019   0

THERE will be rubbish removed underground and overground on Monday, September 23, when the Rubery Wombles holds its ‘First Day of Autumn Litterpick’.

Participants should meet on the corner of New Road and Beverley Road at 5pm for the tidying of the hedges, banks, the underpass and the roadsides to the 63 bus stop.

Because it is near to busy roads, this one is not suitable for children.

The group wants to thank the Frankley Street Champions for agreeing to pick up the bags of rubbish.

Search for Rubery Wombles on Facebook for more on the group.
