Road in Clent reopens after crash

Bromsgrove Editorial 11th Feb, 2020 Updated: 11th Feb, 2020   0

THE Worcester Road in Clent which was shut earlier after a crash between a car and a van has now reopened.

It happened near to the Barnett Hill Garden and Leisure Centre – between Hackmans Gate and Mustow Green.

Both sides of the carriageway were closed so the Midlands Air Ambulance could land.

Fire crews from Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest were sent to the scene.

The van driver was trapped and was freed after firefighters removed the door.

The van driver was taken to hospital and the car driver was assessed on scene.

The fire crews then made both vehicles safe.

Fortunately they both had only suffered minor injuries.
