Police tell Rubery driver 'it's a long walk home' after seizing his car

POLICE told a Rubery driver ‘it’s a long walk home’ after his car was seized for having no licence or insurance.

Officers pulled over the Ford Fiesta yesterday when they noticed ‘suspicious behaviour’.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Turns out it was because the driver had no licence, no insurance and tried to lie about his details.

“However we weren’t lying when we told him that his vehicle was being seized.

“It’s a long, cold walk home.”
