POLICE recovered a vehicle stolen from Gloucestershire after catching up with it on the motorway in between Bromsgrove and Redditch.
Highly trained officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit (OPU) had to perform a ‘TPAC’ manoeuvre to bring the vehicle to a stop earlier troday.
A TPAC involves police vehicles pulling alongside and in front of a vehicle to tactically bring it to a safe stop.
The pick-up truck belonged to Stroud District Council.
Officers also arrested the driver at the scene on suspicion of burglary following the incident between Junction 1 and 2 of the M42.
