Police probing unprovoked attack in Rubery pub

A MAN was punched in the face in an unprovoked attack in a Rubery pub.

The incident happened at 6pm on Sunday, March 24, in the New Rose and Crown, New Road.

A man in his 40s was in the pub when another man approached him and punched him in the face, causing facial injuries.

The attacker was white, around 5ft 5in tall, of stocky build, with short dark curly hair.




Police say enquiries are currently ongoing and officers have urged any witnesses or anyone with any information to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
