Bromsgrove Editorial 8th Jan, 2019   0

THERE were two thefts from vans parked in Alvechurch in a matter of hours over the weekend.

In the first incident in the car park of the Coach and Horses pub, Weatheroak Hill, the raiders forced open the back doors of the vehicle and stole a number of power tools.

It happened at 5.35pm on Saturday and the thieves escaped in a car, thought to be a dark blue five-door Ford.

In the second, on Blyths Way, between 4.45pm and 4.50pm on Sunday, the thieves smashed a passenger side window and rolled the van back to get to the back doors.

They then stole a quantity of power tools and made off in a vehicle thought to have been a dark blue Vauxhall Zafira.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information on the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
