A SERIOUS crash took place in Hagley on Christmas Eve and the police have appealed for anyone with any information on it to get in touch.

The two-car collision happened around 10pm on the A456 Worcester Road.

It involved a grey Fiat Punto with the partial registration number XAF and a white Volkswagen Golf which had the partial number plate ‘VKB’.

PC Kully Singh, who is investigating the incident, said the police would particularly like to speak to a black man who was in the area at the time.

He was in his 30s and wearing a baseball cap, hoodie and jeans.

Officers feel he may hold key information to help with the investigation.

He also appealed for anyone who had dash cam footage of the crash to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
