PARENTS and carers have been urged to ensure their children remain vigilant to the dangers of strangers after an incident in Bromsgrove yesterday.

Police have confirmed they have received reports of a man who, acting suspiciously in his car on Charford Road, stopped and spoke to a pupil on their way home.

It prompted South Bromsgrove High to send out a letter to parents and carers about the incident, advising children to stay in pairs where possible on their journeys to and from school.

Insp Lee Page said: ““We are currently investigating this report, speaking with witnesses and local schools and have additional officers in the area.”
