Police have issued warning notices to pavement parkers in Bromsgrove

OFFICERS from Bromsgrove Police’s Safer Neighbourhood Team have been out and about issuing warning notices to motorists who have parked their cars irresponsibly or dangerously on pavements.

The action was taken against inconsiderate drivers in Stoke Prior and the officers were responding to complaints from residents.

Police say warning notices were issued where appropriate and urged people to think very carefully where they parked.

Officers added there should be enough room on the pavement for a double buggy or wheelchair to get past and tweeted the hashtag #pavementsareforpeople as well as this picture.

Anyone who feels there is an issue in their area of the district can report it to police by calling 101.
