Police dog PD Gremlin apprehended youth who threatened another in Bromsgrove with a baseball bat

A YOUTH who threatened another with a baseball bat in Bromsgrove was detained after he was apprehended by a police dog.

Officers were called to the incident at 1pm on Sunday in Lyttleton Avenue, Charford.

When the police got there the man who had the bat tried to make off but PD Gremlin was hot on his tail and challenged the attacker who then dropped the weapon.

He was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
