QUICK-acting police officers chased down three suspects following a knifepoint robbery in Cofton Park and then got the stolen phone back to the victim in 20 minutes.
The two officers were patrolling the park when the three youths are believed to have threatened the teenager on Sunday afternoon.
The pair gave chase and one of them tackled the knifeman, disarmed him and arrested him, despite being confronted by the blade.
The other officer single-handedly restrained the other two youths when a passing off-duty police officer stepped in until back-up arrived.
Three teenagers arrested on suspicion of robbery have been released on police bail with conditions as our investigation continues.
