WEST Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses after a white VW Golf failed to stop for police on Burcott Lane, Bromsgrove at about 2.35pm on Tuesday, January 28.

The vehicle was then in a collision with a black Peugeot 206 before the driver and passenger escaped.

Detective Sargeant Alex Farmer said: “Unfortunately a member of the public has been injured during a collision with a vehicle that failed to stop for police.

“She was taken to hospital along with her passenger. Both received medical treatment for their minor injuries and have since been discharged.

“If you saw the white VW Golf, registration starting AD13 prior to the collision or driving in the Bromsgrove area we would like to hear from you especially those with dash-cam footage.”

One man in his 40’s from the West Midlands was arrested concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and was later released under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call DS Farmer on 01562 826287 or email [email protected], quoting incident number 362s of Tuesday 28 January.
