Police appeal after woman needs surgery following dog attack in Bromsgrove

A WOMAN was bitten by a dog in Worcester Road, Bromsgrove, on Sunday and police are now trying to trace the owner.

The woman, who is in her 60s, suffered serious injuries during the incident at 4pm.

She was shaken by her ordeal and had to have emergency surgery and spent three days in hospital.

The dog is believed to be a French Bulldog which was with a young couple at the time who police want to speak to.




Witnesses or anyone who knows who the owners are should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
