Poignant poppy display at Bromsgrove's Salvation Army shop

A SPECIAL display to mark the Armistice centenary has been put up in the Salvation Army shop in Bromsgrove High Street.

The store changes its window display to mark event which prompted volunteer Mark White one for Remembrance Sunday.

“Everybody who has seen it comments how fantastic it is,” said Mark.

“It’s a very important weekend coming up so it merited a very striking display.”




There have been donations of themed DVDs, pictures and books and a Women’s Air Force (WAF) uniform was added to make

The Bromsgrove Royal British Legion has donated a cardboard cenotaph, two wreaths and paper poppies to enhance the display.
