Players sought for new fun rounders league which is coming to Bromsgrove

FANS of the classic game Rounders can take part in a new weekly league which will take place on Wednesday evenings at South Bromsgrove High School, starting on May 22.

This Wednesday, May 15, at 7pm at the school, there will be a refresher session at the school to remind players of the rules, form teams and practice matches.

The sessions, run by Leagues4you, are £32 per team (nine players) and people can join in whole teams, as a small group of friends or individually and teams can be formed there.

League co-ordinator Lynsey Ganderton said: “We’re passionate about getting people back into sport and make playing as hassle free as possible.

“We take away a lot of the barriers that can prevent people from taking part in sports.”

She said anyone over 14 was welcome to join regardless of ability, fitness and age.

The umpires and kit are provided.
