Pavement-parked cars ticketed in Catshill as mum with pushchair is 'forced to walk in the road'

TWO CARS blocking the pathway have been ticketed by police in Catshill this morning.

PC Barney Kelso, the area’s Safer Neighbourhood Officer, said whilst he was on foot patrol in Woodrow Lane, one car was parked so obstructively a mum with a pushchair was forced to go into the road to get past.

PC Kelso said he was unable to find the drivers to get them to move their vehicles or ‘educate’ them about their inconsiderate parking.

“I had no other choice but to ticket them,” he added.
