Owners of Mercedes stolen in Rednal appeal for return of 'sentimental items'

THE OWNERS of a black Mercedes stolen in Rednal have appealed for the return of some sentimental items which were in the car at the time.

The vehicle was taken in a car-key burglary from the driveway of a property in Belmont Road between Sunday and Monday.

The owner runs Rainbows and Brownie units in the area and documents their experiences in personal scrapbooks – they were in the boot of the car at the time and the theft means several Rainbows will now not get their books back unless they are returned.

She also has lost her Girl Guide pin badge which is a cloth pendant with badges on it that represents her ten and 15 years of service to the girl guides.

The vehicle had the partial registration number ‘EAN’.

We reported on Tuesday how the vehicle and some Christmas presents had been taken after a break-in at the home.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
