AN ESTATE agent with offices in Barnt Green, Bromsgrove and Droitwich has sponsored The Star Project’s upcoming show ‘An Ogre’s Tale’ at Artrix on July 21.
The link-up with Oulsnam came about when the cast members were undertaking their own fund-raising for the show.
Julie Powell – mum of Thomas, one of the senior boys, said the agents’ director – Andrew Oulsnam would be happy to offer a sponsorship deal.
The £1,000 has paid for the set created by Jam Props and Scenery in Bournville.
The show tells the story of Shrek where Lord Farquaad kicks the fairytale characters out of their homes and sends them to live on a swamp.
As part of the sponsorship, The Star Project has produced some quirky pictures with Oulsnam, being an estate agent, saving the fairytale characters from being homeless by selling the swamp to them.
Star Project manager Sarah Evans and owner and director Jo Payne said: “The team and students are so grateful to Oulsnam for their kindness and generosity.
“It has allowed us to have an incredible set created by Jam.”
Performances of An Ogre’s Tale take place at 2pm and 6pm.
