A NORTHFIELD man has been charged with perverting the course of justice following a crash in Solihull.

Morgan Cotterill, 18, of Jervoise Drive, Northfield, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.

With him in the dock will be three others who have been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

It is alleged the trio – all in separate cars – were driving dangerously along Stratford Road when one of them hit another man’s vehicle on July 18 last year.

The 65-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries and he is still recovering today.

Daniel Tandy, aged 23, of Highters Road, Highters Heath, James Walters, 18, of Gorleston Road, Yardley, and a 17-year-old boy have been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
