A SERIES of new group meetings will kick off tomorrow (Wednesday) at Bournheath Village Community Centre giving residents the chance to meet other people and socialise.
The fortnightly get-together, at the Claypit Lane centre, will start from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on March 7 and will offer people a place to meet friends and neighbours for a cup of tea and a chat.
They can enjoy board-games, listen to guest speakers, take part in gentle exercise and swap a book at the book-bank.
The meetings will generally meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, with the first from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and the third from 10am to 12pm.
