THERE were two suspicious incidents on the same day in Rednal.
In the first at 11.40pm on Thursday a resident in Parsonage Drive was awoken by the sound of his van alarm going off.
After investigating he found a gas detector had been stolen from his van.
In the second, two men were seen getting out of a van in The Grove in Rednal. They tried the door handles of several cars before opening the boot of one of them.
They were disturbed and the pair fled in a small blue van which had a registration number which began AE56.
