Music showcase in Rubery raised £1,000 for armed forces charities

AN ARMED forces charity music night raised £1,000 for Troop Aid and SSAFA.

The concert took place at Rubery Social Club on Saturday and featured a variety of local performers.

Among them were Bethany, Tammy Moore, Izzye, Olivia Payne, Scott Cartwright and Ella Jackson.

Organiser Tony Maslen, the chairman of the Rubery Tattoo, said a great night of entertainment was enjoyed by all and he thanked everyone for giving so generously.
