THERE are more motorway closures in the coming days on both the M5 and the M42.
Highways England say they are shutting the carriageways so ‘major works’ on the redevelopment scheme can be carried out.
The northbound carriageway from Junction 5 (Droitwich) to Junction 4a (Bromsgrove) – including the northbound entry at Junction 5 – will be closed between 8pm and 6am from tomorrow (Monday) to Wednesday (February 1).
The northbound carriageway and entry sliproad at Junction 6 of the M5 (Worcester) will be shut between 8pm tomorrow (Monday) and 6am on Wednesday (February 1).
From 8pm on Thursday (February 2) until 6am on Friday (February 3), the southbound carriageway and entry sliproad will be closed between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and Junction 6 (Worcester).
On the M42, the Junction 1 entry and exit sliproads will be closed overnight in both directions between 9pm and 5.30pm from Wednesday (February 1) until February 5. That, Highways England says, is for ‘off network carriageway work’.
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted for drivers.
