THE MET OFFICE has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds across Worcestershire and south Birmingham with gusts of up to 43mph forecast for tomorrow’s morning rush hour.
The conditions are expected to reach their peak around 6am with strong winds expected to continue up until early afternoon.
The Met Office warns people could be injured from flying debris, buildings may be damaged and roof tiles ripped off.
Commuters and those doing the school run should prepare for longer journey times as roads and public transport, including buses and trains, could be hit.
There is also a danger of power cuts and disruption to other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
People should take care when they are out and about.
