Masked men threaten family with guns and baseball bats during armed robbery in Romsley

FIVE masked men threatened a family with guns and baseball bats during an armed robbery in Romsley.

At 4.30pm on Friday, November 18, the men, wearing balaclavas and dark clothing, forced their way into a property on St Kenelms Road.

Using two handguns and baseball bats, they threatened a man, woman and a teenage boy.

The man was hit on the head with a gun and suffered cuts which required hospital treatment, no-one else was injured but all three occupants were shocked by the incident.




After stealing jewellery and money from the safe, the offenders locked the occupants in the cellar and made off in two cars, a black Bentley Continental and a black Jaguar XKR, stolen from the drive.

Detectives investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or has any information which would help them with their inquiries.
