THE MAN behind a night of music, comedy and poetry in London which showcased a number of high profile acts before they became big names is being relaunched in Worcester.

The first Bohemian Voices will take place at The Vault, Worcester Arts Workshop, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm on November 7.

After that it will be on the first Thursday of every month.

Bohemian Voices was devised by Steve Soden who comperes and hosts the evening.

Back in the day it featured acts such as Jimmy Carr, Michael Mcintyre, Hal Cruttenden, Shappi Khorsandi, Rob Dearing, Pete Doherty and The Libertines who all went on to have illustrious careers.

On November 7, as well as Steve, there will be former Worcester Poet Laureate Suz Winspear, poet and comedian Kieran ‘Baldy Man’ Davis, comedian Tristan Harris, singer and guitarist Kringo Blue, comedian Sarah Nicholson, stand-up poet Neil Laurenson and musical duo Mel and Him.

Tickets are £5 (£2.50 for students) and anyone wanting more information or any performers wanting to appear at future shows should email [email protected]
