Man taken to hospital after crash in Hagley

A MAN in his 60s was taken to hospital after a crash in Hagley yesterday morning.

The incident happened at 7.46am on the A491 Stourbridge Road, at the junction of Cherrington Gardens.

The Volvo, the only vehicle involved in the crash, hit the central reservation.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that, after being assessed at the scene, the man was taken to Russels Hall Hospital for further assessment.

Fire crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service made the vehicles safe and cleared up an oil spill from the vehicle.
