Man remanded over robberies in Rubery and Rednal

THE REDNAL man arrested over the robbery in Rubery on Wednesday appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (Friday) where they remanded him until his next hearing.

Christopher Andrew Randall, 27, of Stilthouse Grove, was charged yesterday evening (Thursday) with three counts of robbery and three counts of possessing a bladed article in a public place.

It follows a robbery at the Late Night Pharmacy New Road in Rubery on Tuesday night and one outside the cashpoint at Lloyd’s Bank on New Road on Wednesday morning, along with a robbery at Tom’s Hardware on Bristol Road South in Rednal on Wednesday.

Randall will next appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on October 4.
