Man kicked and punched in attempted knifepoint robbery in Bromsgrove

A MAN was kicked and punched during an attempted knife-point robbery which happened in Bromsgrove on Saturday night.

The attack happened in Lyttleton Avenue at 10.45pm when two men approached the victim and demanded cash from them before they assaulted him.

They then fled the scene leaving the victim, who was in his 40s, with injuries which needed hospital treatment but are not thought to be life-threatening or changing.

The first man was white, in his mid-20s, around 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build and walked with a limp. He also had brown hair and a neatly trimmed beard and was wearing a black cap and dark jacket.




The second attacker – a larger man – was wearing a balaclava.

Det Sgt Iain Standing from West Mercia Police said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim and we take all reports of this nature extremely seriously.


“While investigations are ongoing, we are appealing to the public for their help in identifying those responsible and would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward.”
