Man charged after police officer was injured in Wythall

A MAN has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and having no insurance after an incident in Wythall in which a police officer was injured.

It happened on Three Oaks Road on Tuesday evening.

Khazeer Ali, 27, of Russell Road, Hall Green, Birmingham appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Three other men from Solihull were arrested as part of the investigation:




An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault

A 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault and failing to stop when directed.


A 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault, failing to stop, dangerous driving and attempted theft of a vehicle.

All three men have been released under police investigation.
