Man arrested over road rage attack in Rubery during the Velo Birmingham where 'steward was deliberately driven at'

A MAN was arrested yesterday over a suspected road rage attack in Rubery during the Velo Birmingham.

The 72-year-old Northfield man was arrested in Bromsgrove after a Velo steward was injured around 11.30am on New Inns Lane, Rubery.

It’s thought the 59-year-old from Plymouth was deliberately driven at, leaving him with a suspected fractured hip.

Police say enquiries are continuing and have urged any witnesses or anyone with any information to call them on 101.
