Main road in Bromsgrove to be closed for five evenings to allow works to take place

A MAIN ROAD in Bromsgrove will be closed in the evenings for five days as part off works being carried out by Worcestershire Highways.

The Worcester Road, at the junction of Hanover Street, will be shut between 9pm and 6am from Thursday to Monday.

The 144 will be rerouted during this time –

Towards Worcester – it will embark on its normal route to Bromsgrove Bus Station before diverting via the A448, Market Street, The Strand, Stratford Road and then onto the Bromsgrove by-pass and Charford Road, rejoining its usual route on the B4091 in Rock Hill.




Towards Birmingham – buses will run as normal to B4091 Rock Hill then travel via Charford Road, A38 Bromsgrove By-pass, A448 Stratford Road, A448 The Strand and A448 Market Street before rejoining its normal route from Bromsgrove Bus Station.
