A LONGBRIDGE councillor has been working with pupils from Reaside Academy on a campaign to improve road safety.
Coun Andy Cartwright met with the the Reaside Eco Warriors to hear their views on parking on roads surrounding the school and traffic calming measures.
They have discussed the possibility of a walking bus to go to and from school and the creative youngsters have been designing posters.
The next step will be for Coun Cartwright and the school council to put a bid together to present at a New Frankley Parish Council meeting.
A ‘Safety in Frankley Day’ which the local community will be invited to attend is also being planned for April.
