THERE was a celebration of local heroes last Friday to officially open the Christmas Ice Rink at Webbs’ Garden Centre in Wychbold.
The 18 inspiring individuals, nominated by members of the community for their selfless actions throughout the year, were given the chance to be the first to skate at this year’s rink.
Each year thousands of families from across the Midlands have a great time skating on the rink which is open between now and January 5.
Webbs owner Ed Webb said it was a great night and the company’s pleasure to reward people of all ages who had given so much to others.
