THE ever-popular Primrose Proms concert in aid of caring Primrose Hospice takes place on October 19.
The Primrose Choir will be joined for the first time by Avonbank Brass Band, who are set to give a rousing performance of their favourite tunes as well as all the usual Proms selections.
Walkwood Middle School Choir will be making a welcome return, having given a most accomplished performance last year.
The two choirs will perform some pieces together and some separately and some with the band.
As in all ‘Last-Night-Of-The-Proms’ concerts, there will be much flag-waving and an opportunity for the audience to join in.
