A BROMSGROVE Pre-Preparatory School student has donated her locks to the Little Princess Trust so it can be used to help children who lose their hair through treatment for cancer and other illnesses, writes Ben Workman.

The school held its annual charity week where a committee selects a cause to support through fund-raising activities.

This led to Aaliya Sitlu and her mum Viveka thinking of a new way of how they could make a difference which is when they came up with the idea to help the Little Princess Trust.

Whilst in South Africa Aaliya visited the local hair salon to have her hair cut.

Aaliya’s selfless act warmed the hearts of so many including the women working at the Hairven Hair Salon.

One told her: “This is truly amazing and so thoughtful from such a little child.

“You, little girl, have left a huge mark on all of our hearts.

“We are truly inspired by you and wish you all the very best in your future.”
