A KIND-HEARTED Bromsgrove girl is having her long locks chopped so her hair can be made into wigs for children who have lost theirs through treatments for cancer and other illnesses.
Olivia Cooper, nine, who lives on Breme Park and is due to start at Aston Fields Middle School in September, approached her parents Steve and Sophie a year ago to ask if she could help others.
Her hair is currently 18ins long and she is planning to have half of it cut.
Steve said: “We are so proud she asked to do this and we are hoping we can also raise as much money as possible for the cause.”
